The project "Craft as intercultural tool to integrate youth with special needs in the society" creates learning opportunities for the young people, inclusion of youth with disabilities. The aim of the project is to strengthen the knowledge and skills of youth in North Macedonia and Albania intercultural heritage and the skills of young persons with disabilities through craft knitting as tool. The target group is 52 young people 26 form Albania and North Macedonia with integration of youth disabilities aged 15 to 30 years. The main objective of the project is to strengthen the knowledge and skills of youth in North Macedonia and Albania intercultural heritage and the skills of young persons with disabilities through craft knitting as tool. Inclusive approach to young people with disabilities for inclusion in the community and strengthening by providing access to training for craft knitting and self- employment in the labor market.
The target group is 40 young people and 12 young people with special needs (20 young people and 6 young people with special need from North Macedonia and 20 young people and 6 young people with disabilities from Albania aged 15 to 30 yearsto be trained for the knitting trade within 8 months and presenting the possibility of self-employment. Also, since the target group is specific and depending on their disability, the parents will be involved in training activities for knitting.
